Canada Job Grant
The Canada Job Grant provides $500 million of annual funding to employers to invest in their workforce. Small, medium and large businesses, including profit or non-profit, that focus on skill development for existing and new employees are eligible.
Employers must contribute 1/3 of the total cost of training with each employee being eligible to receive up to $10,000 for training from the government. Training must be delivered by an eligible, third-party trainer and can be in a variety of different settings including classroom, at your workplace or online. The following training costs are supported: tuition fees, mandatory student fees, textbooks, software, other required materials and exam fees.
Employers must apply for the Job Grant by submitting a training application on behalf of their employees. Employers can apply for a Canada Job Grant directly through the following provinces or territories:

- British Columbia
- Manitoba
- Newfoundland and Labrador
- New Brunswick
- Northwest Territories
- Nova Scotia
- Nunavut
- Ontario
- Prince Edward Island
- Saskatchewan
- Yukon
